CO2 Separation

Carbon Dioxide Separation

The main source for manufacturing oil is waste carbon dioxide from coal-burning plants.

Existing processes to separate carbon dioxide from effluent gas of coal stacks require a lot of energy and various consumable chemicals.

Inventions are needed to substantially improve the performance vs.- cost value of the separation process.

We are working on two independent pathways toward such an improvement: The first uses gas separation methods as described in Fuelcor patents, and modifying them to separate low-concentration carbon dioxide going into coal plant stacks. The second path is to further integrate energy interchanges between a Fuelcor plant and a carbon dioxide chemical separator.
